This hole window contains two great holes along the water, both based on ideas in Mike Strantz's True Blue. The first is a medium length par 3, which can be pretty straight forward unless the pin is tucked back left, right against the water. The next par 4 is really nice. It plays open but tightens in the fairway in the long drive range, yielding a tough shot into a shallow, well bunkered green. Stay out of the trap there! Again, an unlucky drive at least gives the option of a punch to an inviting collection area.
