Acting Resume

Well, my school is now doing 42nd Street, finally my chance to put 10 years of tap dancing to work on stage! I'm having a lot of fun at rehearsals, because I am "Andy," the dance instructor of the show within the show. I also get to be in the big numbers, including the opening which simulates the tryouts where I teach all the others the very difficult steps by myself! More info to come...

I had wanted to for a few years, but last year a combination of sports season not conflicting with it and finally the guts to try out introduced me into the world of acting. I have danced for 11 years, sung for just as long, and ask anyone who knows me and they say I always make a big production of everything :). Here are a few acting accomplishments and other qualifications. I later hope to put a picture of me and other stuff so those Broadway producers can fight over me :).

If you actually are a real producer/director and are interested in me (from the New York/New Jersey area), please e-mail me, and I will get back to you with photos and more information needed.

My favorite/dream role right now is to be Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar. Right now the music is not quite in my range, but I'm working hard on it and only need about 2 or 3 notes more. I'm pressuring my director to choose it, too. Maybe in Spring 2002 we'll get to perform it. Check out (what I want to be) my character, portrayed by Tony Vincent, in the Tony Awards performance of "Superstar" from JCSS. Yeah, hopefully I'll be the platinum blonde one in the red leather jacket!  Check it out!
